How To Send A Text Message Alert

IMPORTANT: A user will not receive text messages from Sports Connect unless that user has first opted in by texting the group's keyword to 334-310-2497.  Instructions for opting in to text message alerts are sent to the user when they select Yes to the "Do You Want To Receive Text Alerts From Your Organization" question in their user settings.

Unless an appropriate group already exists for you to send an alert to, you will need to create one:

• Select Add Group or Member from the Text drop-down

• Select a Member Type from the drop-down

• Select who you would like to include in your text group

• Click Add

• Click Save Group to save the group for future use

• Click + New Text Message to text the group

• Enter the message you would like to send

• Click Send Message to send it
