Select Bulk Email from the Email drop-down
Select the desired group category from the Select Groups drop-down
To send an email to an entire program (Youth or High School) select Programs
To send to a specific team, select Teams
Click the + next to the individual group(s) you want to add to the communication
*The Status column may show three states, All, Allocated, and Unallocated. All includes all registrants for that program. Allocated includes only those registrants that are assigned to a team. Unallocated only includes those registrants that are not yet assigned to a team. In most cases, it's best to choose All
*You can go back and select groups from as man categories as you would like (i.e. groups from Programs in the drop-down and groups from Teams in the drop-down.
Manually enter any additional recipients, separating each with a semi-colon
Check the use my email address on file box to have all replies come to you. Otherwise, you can add another email address and replies will go that one instead.
Enter the text of your email. Sports Connect recommends copy/pasting the text from a text editor such as Word or Google Docs if you are having trouble with formatting
Select + Attach a File if you want to include an attachment (You are limited to one attachment per email)
Click Schedule Email if you want to send the email at a later day/time
Click Send Now if you want to send the email right away
Click Save as Draft to save your progress and come back to it later. Drafts are located on the main Bulk Email page
Clicking this icon in the email editor, will allow you to upload and embed images directly into your email. This is a great way to get around the attachment limit.
Highlighting text in your email and then clicking this icon will allow you to turn that text into a clickable hyperlink, if you want to link to another website, web order form, etc.
If you select Email Statistics from the Email menu, you can see all sorts of info. This includes how many the email was sent to, how many opened it, and what groups it was sent to. You can also click resend and you will be able to add additional groups, email addresses, or add/correct info in the email and send it out again.
